Pola Orbis Holdings Inc. has announced its plans to establish a new business subsidiary and venture into the aesthetic medicine-related field. The move aligns with the company’s vision for its 100th anniversary, aiming to evolve into a collection of unique businesses that cater to the diverse values of beauty outlined in VISION 2029.
As part of its strategic goals, Pola Orbis Group seeks to expand its business portfolio and provide value beyond traditional cosmetics. Recognizing the increasing overlap between cosmetics, beauty services, and medical services, the company aims to offer individuals the freedom to choose the beauty methods that resonate with them. To achieve this, Pola Orbis has decided to create an independent subsidiary dedicated to the aesthetic medicine-related field, separate from its existing cosmetics brands.
The new subsidiary will leverage the Group’s dermatology research findings to develop aesthetic medicine-related products and services. These offerings will be based on the evidence produced by the Group’s research centers, ensuring a strong foundation of scientific knowledge. The subsidiary will collaborate with dermatology clinics and other medical facilities to supply them with these aesthetic medicine-related products and services.
The official launch of the new subsidiary is scheduled for January 2024, marking the beginning of the next medium-term management plan. Pola Orbis aims to provide significant new value in various business domains during this phase, further expanding its presence in the aesthetic medicine-related field.
